Excitement, joyful, happiness: I woke up the light from the beautiful outside gazed and laid upon my eyes. I got up every step I take warmth touched myself. I'm very excited today me and my family are going to the zoo.

I rushed downstairs to say good morning to my family. My mom was cooking breakfast. My dad and brother unfazed sitting at the dining table waiting to be served food. My mom knew how much today meant to me. Going to the zoo for the first time. It has been my dream to go ever since I turned 7 last year. My brother who is 16 doesn't look too happy but he has to deal with it as I want to see the most fascinating animal I've ever heard of the tiger. Everyone says how menacing and dangerous tigers can be. Our animals are just like humans. I had my breakfast and rushed upstairs with my mom to get ready. I stepped out of the shower the humidity grazed upon the skin of my hands. All I I went into my room and searched for the best outfit I could find, my tiger scratched patterned top and blue jeans. As my family was also getting ready I decided to dedicate my time into my diary. I opened it up and wrote, "Dear Diary I can't wait to go to the zoo today it has been a dream of mine to go and this excitement keeps bubbling over me. I will continue on the next page to show you what it was like and how I felt on my day out."

My mom screeched my name. She stated "let's go the more time we waste the less time we have there." I sprinted shoes on, my Dad packed sandwiches and cartons of juice for the road and when we get there. I shoved Mum car and off we go.
The journey was only 1 hour and 30 minutes. Halfway through the journey my dad was obviously driving and my mom and brother were on their phones scrolling away whilst I looked out through the window and admired the countryside trees wooshing past me. I always felt at one with nature ever since I could remember it brings me peace and happiness. No wonder I can't wait to see how the zoo looks, the and the animals it provided.

We arrived and stepped out I had one look up and wow the tall mesmerizing pine trees towered over the zoo it was a gargantuan entrance it felt so special. We arrived at reception and dad got all the day passes. We stepped in. It was like a variety of different biomes Africa jungle it was too beautiful and natural. My mom was the first to see the tiger exhibit and asked me is this what you want to see first?
I immediately blurted YES. We all ran except my brother he didn't wanna be a part of this. As we approached the metal fence that bordered us from the tiger, 2 minutes went by nothing appeared my dad and mom went to see where my brother is. I looked back to see where they went then as I had a glance back. The top of his bright orange black and white head sticked out than the neck and face every step it took it got closer and closer the tiger was called Larry and my tiger doesn't look like it would be someone called Larry is approached me. I froze and didn't know what to do or say as there was no one around me. All that stood between me and this tiger was a ancient rusty looking metal fence. BANG Larry paw striked the gate and you wouldn't believe what happened next.
